Description Tropical Nut & Fruit currently has a position for a Delivery / Warehouse Driver in Dallas, TX to deliver product in the Dallas market to customers such as restaurants, hotels, schools, colleges and grocery stores.

Tropical Nut and Fruit, established in Charlotte, NC in 1977, is a privately woman owned business which is rapidly growing in the food manufacturing and wholesale distributing of nuts, snacks, candy and specialty foods.

Tropical has distribution centers Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Upper Marlboro, MD (DC); Memphis, TN; and a distribution center located at 10647 Shady Trail, Dallas, TX. 75220.

Delivery Driver / Warehouse

Responsibilities of Delivery Driver / Warehouse:

Check accuracy and stability of the load.
Load and unload product.
Deliver, check and account for orders from the warehouse to destinations on the invoice.
Greet customers in a professional manner and provide customer service.
Ensure invoices are signed and checked.
Stock product in warehouse slots.
Pull product for orders and complete required documentation.

Requirements Requirements of Delivery / Warehouse Driver:

High school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by three to six months of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and training.
Excellent customer service skills.
Minimum 1 year of delivery experience.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 60 lbs.
Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, divide
Assertive and work well both independently and within a department with minimal supervision.
Ability to organize and plan.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Present a professional appearance.
Valid state driver’s license.
Forklift experience.
