Description
Interstate Brands Corporation, home of Butternut, Wonder Bread, Hostess Cake, and Dolly Madison Cake has an opening for a Route Sales Representative (RSR) in Danville, KY.
Responsibilities: -Service established accounts with IBC. -Build Sales for IBC products by following established Company merchandising procedures. -Control stale and products destroyed through proper ordering and handling of products. -Maintain good relationships with account personnel including receivers, bakery and store managers. -Promote sales through special displays, developing account relationships, use of promotional material. -Safely drive and operate a route truck. -Practice sage work procedures while performing all duties associated with the position. -Use a handheld computer to facilitate proper ordering and distribution of products.
An RSR typically starts anywhere between 3-5am and works approximately 45-55 hours per week with off days on Wednesday and Sunday.
