Job Title: Regional Director of Sales, Healthcare Division
Department: Sales – Acute Care Team
SUMMARY
An integral member of the national sales force, leading independent sales representatives, spearheading and servicing dealer relationships in their representative region and participating in the overall sales direction of the healthcare division. Drive lead-development, client outreach, sales rep training and management, provide for dealer needs, involved in select national programs and tradeshows. Discover and communicate back to the organization market trends and customer needs and opportunities to support product development, pricing and marketing strategy.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Professionally represents, presents and sells the entire healthcare product line to facilities and buying organizations (GPO’s, IDN’s) in designated region.
· Discover and manage new leads & sales opportunities
· Develops sales targets and manages lead closure
· Develops, manages, trains and supervises independent sales representatives
· Provides periodic sales reports as needed
· Monitors region for information related to new facility construction, additions and other significant sales opportunities.
· Contribute to new product development strategy, providing insight from the field.
· Participates in determination of tradeshow strategy and execution
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales representatives and dealer relationships in designated region.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors Degree in Business, Marking or Healthcare related field
· Minimum of 10 years experience in healthcare field working with materials management, O.R., capital equipment, central supply or equivalent.
· Strong communication skills with ability to work independently.
· Existing relationships with key targets at facilities in designated region, i.e. heads of materials management, OR, central supply, etc.
