Do you have an active Life and Health license? Want to go to work now? Stonebridge Life Insurance (AEGON) is currently seeking individuals who have an active Life and Health insurance license in Texas to go to work on November 23rd in our inbound call center. There is no cold calling, telemarketing, or establishing leads required in this position.This is a full time, job opportunity with our company, with full benefits, not a temporary/contract job. This position pays $14/hour plus monthly performance sales bonuses based on cross-selling and customer retention.

Schedule Available:

11:15am - 8pm M-F including Sat from 8am-2pm (fulltime, 40/hr week)

 

4-Week Training Schedule:

8:30am - 5:15pm Monday - Friday

No absences allowed

 

Job Summary:

Agent provides quality telephone customer service by courteously and promptly acting on the customer’s request. Solicits and verifies sales of the organization’s products and /or services via inbound calls, upgrade calls, cross-sell and external partner transfers.  Successfully retains customers who may be looking to cancel their insurance policy or membership. Speaks with customer to determine customer needs, describes and explains products, makes recommendations, and secures sales while meeting monthly sales goals.  Accurately records and reports results of all customer calls.  Has an in-depth understanding of company products and Life and Health insurance licensing requirements.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Stable work history required with historical job stability, minimum of 1 year with each employer
  • Call Center experience with cross-selling/up-selling and/or customer retention emphasis required 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; must be able to speak clearly and professionally.
  • Must have a professional appearance and ability to adhere to a business-casual environment
  • Ability to work in a structured environment and adhere to enforced attendance policy and schedule requirements. Minimal absences allowed.
  • Ability to effectively navigate a computer and toggle between multiple computer screens/applications
  • Outgoing and friendly personality not easily intimidated, ability to handle customer rejection
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and diverse environment 
  • Ability to start on November 23, 2009 and attend 4 weeks of training from 8:30am-5:15pm with no absences or tardiness.
