Synico Staffing is currently looking for a
Buyer Assistant for a Nationally Recognized client. This is a three month
contract position in the Twin Cities Suburbs. The qualified candidate be responsible for order placement and follow up. This position is also a resource to assigned facilities to source suppliers and materials for local requirements. The position will assist Sourcing Managers in managing the supplier relationships at local levels and implementing new sourcing contracts across the BU.

JOB DUTIES:
- 60% Place approved requisitions on purchase orders, issuing those purchase orders to appropriate suppliers, obtaining order confirmation from suppliers, and following up on delinquent orders.
- 20% Investigate cost savings opportunities in specific product or service areas
- 10% Assist in sourcing materials for assigned facilities
- 10% Supplier relationship management
