COMPENSATION:
$11.39 / hour

The Driver is responsible for supplying transportation services to students and performing general maintenance duties throughout the year.

1. Transport students by bus and automobile to various vocational sites, medical centers, recreational activities, courts and etc.

2. Transports equipment and/or commodities to the center.

3. Inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of the vehicles.

4. Attends all training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.

5. Is CPR and First Aid Certifiable.

6. Maintains a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no loss-time accidents.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum -
Must be able to read and write English at a high school level Must have a valid State Driver’s License & valid Commercial Driver’s License.

Preferred -
Possess a High School Diploma. Six months of general transportation experience.

General Requirements -
In order to perform the essential job functions of this position, candidate must be able to read/write at a high school level. Knowledge of methods needed to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate and execute instructions or directives fluently in English.
