Collabera (formerly GCI) is looking for Build Engineer in Redmond, WA

Duration:          12+ months (on going project)

Location:          Redmond, WA

 

Title:                   Build Engineer

 

Positions:         02 open positions

 

Job Description:

  • Primary responsibilities include managing daily builds and sustaining customer released builds as well as designing, developing, debugging, testing, maintaining and improving our systems.

  • Managing builds include running, monitoring and troubleshooting our processes as well as driving all build issues to resolution in a timely manner.

  • Source code management and prior build experience is a plus.

  • A solid programming background in C/C++ or C# and excellent scripting skills (Batch, Perl, VBScript or PowerShell) are required.

  • Extensive cross-group interaction will be required which includes working closely with developers, testers, program managers, and other groups or individuals who will often have conflicting goals, schedules and demands.



Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Source code management and prior build experience is a plus.

  • A solid programming background in C/C++ or C# and excellent scripting skills (Batch, Perl, VBScript or PowerShell) are required.

  • The qualified candidate must be adept at analyzing and solving technical problems; have strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams; have solid decision making and problem solving skills; be able to learn processes, tools and technologies quickly; be able to track progress and deal with multiple time critical issues concurrently; be able to work well as an individual and as part of a fun, dynamic and dedicated team.
