Description At the direction of the City Prosecutor, this position works with all City departments to assist in preparation, filing, and prosecution of municipal ordinance violations in the Lee's Summit Municipal Court (includes general ordinance, code violations, traffic, domestic violence, and animal control cases). This position also handles the Mental Health Court Docket, Trial De Novo Dockets, and Domestic Violence Dockets as assigned.

Requirements

Admission to the Missouri Bar is required. Municipal law, trial, and prosecution experience preferred. Must have the ability to work with elected officials, staff members and the public effectively and efficiently.
