Job Description 

We are looking for a Lead Direct Support Professional who is interested in helping us serve our Mission.   The position is located in Sheffield, OH and is fulltime, but must have some flexibility in hours.
 

Summary:
Directly responsible to Program Manager for providing direct support activities and supervision of the persons served to help them achieve their personal goals.  Directs day-to-day activities of Direct Support Professionals.  Completes required documentation and assists with information gathering for Personal Outcome Measures and assessments.  Acts as a team leader and resource person for Direct Support Professionals.  Assists in staff scheduling.  Manages client resources, appointments, and activity schedules.  Manages house expenses and debit/credit card usage.  Assists in maintaining health and safety standards for individuals supported and support sites.  Supports Bethesda's Mission, Vision, and Core Values, ensuring that individuals are assisted in practicing their faith and are treated with the utmost respect.

Job Requirements 

Must have experiece working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must possess strong leadership qualities. 
Must be a positive team player and maintain a positive attitude; skills in planning, organizing, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
Must have high school diploma or GED.
Must have valid driver's license and clear driving record.
Must have cleared and approved criminal record check.
