Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened in Dallas, Texas in 1941 and has been serving "lip smackin', finger lickin', rib ticklin', knee slappin', great tastin'" barbecue ever since. In fact, the original Dickey's Barbecue Pit still serves loyal customers today, but now there are Dickey's Barbecue Pits all over the U.S.

Summary

Dickey’s is looking for a dynamic, motivated marketing enthusiast for the position of Community Marketing Brand Ambassador. The work environment is fast-paced and high-energy. Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

·         distributing marketing materials personally to businesses and residential areas in the community

·         placing follow-up calls for the restaurant’s past catering events in order to schedule future catering reservations

·         pursing new catering business opportunities by utilizing leads from business visits, past caterings events, local events, sporting events, etc.

·         attending community events/activities on behalf of the restaurant to distribute marketing materials and to build relationships for future partnerships

·         developing partnerships with community organizations

·         keeping detailed records of marketing contacts, business leads, community events, etc.
