We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Trainer for our Jamestown location.  The Customer Service Trainer is responsible for facilitating all new and ongoing customer training in our call centers.  This highly visible position reports directly to the Manager of Training and Quality.

 

We are interested in seasoned professionals who want to continue to grow in the training field and in individuals who have the related coursework and are making a career change or interested in an entry level position.  Ideal candidates would have a background in customer service, speech, communications, and / or human resources. 

 

Customer Service Trainer responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering training materials in a meaningful way that ensures class graduates have a smooth transition into successful, professional Customer Service Representatives.
  • Providing feedback, ideas, insight, and suggestions for improvement on trainee performance, training policies, and training operation.
  • Creating a positive, fun, and motivating training environment to enhance employee performance and increase retention.  
  • Monitoring individual progress to provide coaching and to understand employee developmental needs.  
  • Participating in client calibration sessions and taking customer calls when not involved in training.

We are looking for the following education/experience in our Customer Service Trainers:

 

  • Must have outstanding communication skills (verbal and written), motivational skills, and a professional demeanor.  
  • 3 years experience in a training and/or customer service environment preferred.
  • Call center experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products. 
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on client needs.
