Description Commercial Construction Project Manager is needed for our Columbia, MD office.Established in 1967, ISEC, Inc. has become a leading national prime trades contractor and subcontractor for specialty building interiors and equipment. Our corporate headquarters is in Englewood, CO with regional offices in Bothell WA, Fremont CA, Davis CA, Los Alamitos CA, Mesa AZ, Columbia MD and Milwaukee WI. ISEC is currently seeking a Project Manager to work out for our Mid-Atlantic Region in our Columbia, MD office.  We are your single source interior trades contractor, with full-service capabilities to manage every phase, from design, engineering, estimating, purchasing and manufacturing to contract administration and installation.

    Description: The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for completing each commercial project on time, within budget, and satisfying the customer. This could include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:1. Analyze projects to determine scope, schedule requirements, and coordinate with Purchasing and Installation on priorities to effectively bring project within budget and on schedule.2. Review and establish priorities for Project Engineer. PM is responsible for training Project Engineer against PE Job Description.3. Attend Purchasing update meetings for new projects and assist the Purchasing Department as necessary. Pursue to resolution all Vendor Contracts, Bond and Insurance Certificates.4. Verify job readiness and coordinate installation of materials to allow installation to progress in an orderly and timely fashion. The Project Manager will have a positive or negative effect on the profitability of the installation.5. Participate with other Division personnel in establishing and setting and attaining goals for the Division to develop new methods, techniques, systems and ideas to improve the performance of the Company.

    Requirements Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)

    Education/Experience

  • Bachelors Degree with a major in Construction Management or related field (i.e., Civil or Industrial Engineering
  • At least 2 years time-in-grade as a Project Engineer
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Minimum QualificationsEducation/Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field or the equivalent combination of education and related construction experience
  • High School Diploma and plus 5 years of experience in the construction industry
