HAL HAYS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. an award winning General & Civil Construction firm located in Riverside CA, has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager   

• Will be purchasing materials and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Works with outside vendors to ensure items are ordered correctly, on time, and within allocated budget.
• Identifies sourcing opportunities
• Researches new product feasibilities and maintains product specifications.
• Sets up vendor accounts.
• Prepares reports and variance analysis for the management team.
• Generate construction direct cost budgets using provided software tools.
• File/scan bids, documentation and correspondence related to the purchasing function.

HAL HAYS CONSTRUCTION, INC. - Purchasing Manager

• 5+ years in construction/design industry within Southern California with direct responsability for purchasing
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, scopes, and specs
• Must have own database of strong quality vendors related to construction industry
• Advanced knowledge in both Excel and Word
• Experience with computer inventory management.
• Good verbal & written communication skills.
