Job Description

 We are in the search of an experienced HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER for our Plant located in Jefferson City, MO;

 

 Main responsibilities:

 

·         Recruiting/Staffing : conducts recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel. Conducts new employee orientations. Prepares all required employment documentation.

·         Employee Maintenance: Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.  Keeps employee records up-to-date. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

·         Employee Relations: Establishes excellent communication with employees; floor presence required, to get to know employees well, and represent both employees interests as well as meet company expectations; Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws.  Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints

·         Employee Policies:  Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.  Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.

·         Terminations:  Processes terminations. Conducts exit interviews. Analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement

Education/Experience/Skills:

·         Min. 7 years of experience preferred

·         Min 2 year associate Degree in related field or equivalent

·         Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with superiors, co-workers and individuals inside and outside the Company

·         Substantial knowledge of employment practices, laws and regulations
