Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: This position will focus on defining DSL business processes for the provisioning department. They will have responsibility for documenting various processes as well as making recommendations for process improvement initiatives for the team. All new DSL initiatives that impact the provisioning team will also fall under the scope of this position. This position will be a representative throughout the company as to the provisioning perspective and hopefully beyond. Work cross functionally with business partners internally as well as externally. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A. Lead strategic DSL initiatives within the Provisioning team.
B. Methods & Procedures
·          Act as business process owner. Assessing impacts of new DSL products, policies and initiatives against existing procedures
·          Document procedures and maintain a knowledge base to allow our Provisioning Organization to drive operational efficiency
·          Coordinate communications to associates of changes to policies, procedures
·          Act as a DSL subject matter expert to business partners across the enterprise
·          Gather and assess feedback from supported teams for key learning and process improvement opportunities
C. Program Implementation
·          Represent the needs of the Provisioning Organization in the implementation of new DSL programs and initiatives
·          Partner with internal teams, our corporate PMO and other business partners to develop project plans for implementation and execution of initiatives.
·          Develop, coordinate and execute business testing (User Acceptance Testing (UAT)) associated with new or enhanced product or program launches.
D. Drive continual process improvement
·          Analyze statistics and data to identify opportunities and business case for automation or business process re-engineering
·          Provide business partners across the enterprise with intelligence to understand how our DSL products and business policies impact our customer and Provisioning
 
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·          Ensure adequate support is provided to all project team members
·          May perform other duties as required
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILIITIES REQUIRED
·          Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision

·          Proven problem solving capabilities and ability to make and communicate sound business decisions
·          Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills at all levels of the organization
·          PC proficiency (VISIO, Microsoft Project) and proven history of learning new applications quickly
·          Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
·          Must be able to sit long periods of time
·          The employee is regularly required to talk and hear
·          The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
·          Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
 
REQUIREMENTS
·          Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
·          3+ years of recent Project Management or Business Process experience and leading implementation initiatives
·          Experience in DSL Provisioning
·          Previous business process owner experience in identifying and managing requirements
·          4+ years management experience
·          Prior experience in telecommunications is preferred
·          Certification or experience in change management, quality management or process improvement tools (TQM, six sigma, HPT, BPR, etc.)
·          VoIP provisioning experience preferred
