Job Description – Operations Manager

Like all Men's Wearhouse employees, operations managers are expected to work collegially in teams. This means that everyone feels supported by each other in the performance of their job functions and contributes to a work environment consistent with the Men's Wearhouse mission statement and code of conduct. This teamwork is the core of providing a high quality work environment.
The operations manager maintains the primary responsibility for tuxedo rental operations in their store. The operations managers must not only understand and execute the following specific tuxedo duties, but also train, coach, and support other store employees on all tuxedo operations.



Specifically, the operations manager must:

·         Demonstrate proficiency and train store staff in all areas of tuxedo rental operations.

·         Train all store employees on use of the computer system procedures.

·         Learn and demonstrate tuxedo product knowledge, including sizing in all divisions, style, availability, and accessory options.

·         Adhere to Tuxedo Business Rules and Operations in the Tuxedo Manual and procedures as instructed.

·         Manage all order entry functions and ensure timely entry.

·         Manage customer files and delivery system.

·         Market the store tuxedo rental business in the following ways:

·         Attend all area bridal shows as requested. 

·         Call potential brides from bridal show lists and market our services.

·         Market our services for prom and formal dances at local high schools, and recruit and train high school representatives for in-school marketing.

In addition to the primary responsibilities of handling all tuxedo rental operations and training of store staff in such operations, the operations manager is secondarily responsible for assisting the store management team in store operations

·         Regularly communicate with your management team, as well as district and regional managers when appropriate.

·         Assist store management team with maintaining proper staffing at all times.

Commission structures are established for sales professionals at rates competitive with any found in the retail clothing industry. Job Requirements

Operations Managers are extraordinarily detail oriented. Like all in-store employees, you will interact with customers and provide exemplary service. Your primary responsibilities, however, differ from other, more sales-oriented positions. You will focus on ensuring smooth operations of all systems in your store, with an emphasis on tuxedo rentals.
