Company Overview 

Appleton Health Care Center, received new ownership on July 1, 2008. Ide Management Group, known throughout Illinois, Indiana and western Wisconsin for its successful management of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities are the proud owners of Appleton Health Care Center.

Since July 1st, introducing facility best practices and programs to the Residents and staff has been priority. The facility has also been working on the Transitional Care Unit by adding a dynamic in-house therapy team that includes Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapy along with more private, rehab suites. Ongoing aesthetic changes with specialized units are also part of the future plans for Appleton Health Care Center.

Our dedicated staff takes pride in our clean, comfortable and home-like facility. We provide a variety of services including 24-hour nursing care, therapeutic diets, social services and activities. Our private rehabilitation suites are available for individuals desiring to return to more independent living. Appleton’s in-house therapy team provides aggressive physical, occupational and speech therapy to ensure our Residents reach their full potential.

Job Description 

The Appleton Health Care Center is a privately owned, comprehensive skilled nursing facility that takes pride in providing excellence in customized care to our Residents. Through community resource collaboration and support to our families, we ensure our Residents achieve their highest level of independence. 

 

 

 Summary of Certified Nursing Assistant

Appleton Health Care Center, a 120 bed facility, our goal is to improve the quality of life of each patient we serve and we are seeking CNAs to help be a part of that mission. We have openings available for all shifts part-time. If you have long-term care experience, apply today!

Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistant Include :

-  Provides direct patient care that includes but is not limited to hygiene, nutrition and activity. Technical duties include but are not limited to vital signs, reporting change in condition and other assigned duties.

-  A commitment to being Resident first, working with a team and respecting patient privacy and confidentiality is expected.

 


Job Requirements 

 Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistant :

- Required Education: Graduate of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program.

- Wisconsin State Board of Health Certified Nursing Assistant certificate in good-standing.

-  Current CPR Certification and Previous geriatric experience preferred.

 

Job Responsibilities

Responds to residents needs in a timely fashion.  Assists residents with daily tasks like eating, bathing, and toileting.  The C.N.A is also responsible for recording vitals to give to the nurse and charting information properly.  Other responsibilities are assigned based on the needs of the residents.
