Description NBT Bank, N.A. is a full-service community bank offering a complete range of retail and commercial banking products as well as trust and investment services. NBT Bank conducts business through two operating divisions, over 80 full service branches in 18 upstate New York counties and Pennstar Bank with 38 full service branches in a six county region in northeastern Pennsylvania.

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Analyst at our corporate headquarters located in Norwich, New York. Responsibilities include conducting credit investigations and analyzing credit information pertaining to loans; Investigating all available sources of credit and financial information, including reporting services, credit bureaus, other companies, main office files and branches; Preparing summaries, presenting facts and occasionally offering opinions concerning credit-worthiness.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and experience is required. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy along with strong analytical and writing skills are also required.
