Description

Rasmussen is seeking an innovative, experienced Marketing Manager to oversee the college’s rapidly growing online campus (Rasmussen College Online).  This position will be based out of our Orlando central office located in Lake Elmo/Woodbury, MN.

  

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, programs and communications. This individual is expected to have a strong knowledge of Rasmussen College’s value proposition, programs and services, processes and corporate goals and be able to convey that knowledge to support the sales process through marketing programs and communications.  This position requires experience using various marketing channels, media and new media.

 

Responsibilities:

  

  • Develop and manage the Rasmussen College marketing strategy which includes acquisition, conversion, retention and loyalty of prospective and existing online students.
  • Build online community and brand presences to support Rasmussen core values.
  • Consult with primary business clients on marketing and sales processes.
  • Collaborate with campus marketing to develop online versions of campus events.
  • Ensure RCO stakeholders receive communication updates on marketing initiatives and strategies.
  • Develop promotional strategy to improve new student retention and brand awareness.
  • Development of admissions support collateral as needed (direct mail, radio, email, and print).
  • Support segment specific marketing strategies.
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar for key marketing events and initiatives.
  • Manage and deliver quarterly budget forecast.

Requirements
  • BA/ BS degree in marketing or related, MBA preferred
  • 6-8+ years marketing experience, experience in higher education marketing a plus
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in three or more of the following online marketing areas:  TV, radio, print, direct mail, email marketing, banner advertising, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, website marketing, integrated campaign management, ecommerce, direct marketing and/or database marketing
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions. 
  • Experience in managing internal and external resources in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong leadership, team management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel 20%
