Client Summary:
Our client is a "one stop shop" for complete packaging and logistic solutions. They specialize in complete turn-key programs for manufacturing companies; Lean Manufacturing and JIT inventory programs. Capabilities include: custom corrugated and folding cartons, DT and TT labels, litho labels with full line bindery, co-packing and fulfillment, multiple warehouse, freight solutions.

Position reports to: COO
Position: Sales Manager
The Sales Manager will lead efforts in the identification of target customers, the development and execution of acquisition strategies and plans, and the booking of new business within targeted accounts. He/she will work with the Sales Team to expand business within existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the growth of the company through the following specific areas of focus:

Development of positive business relationships with clients and potential clients to bring valuable business to the company.

Team Based New Customer Acquisition & Account Development; Identification of attractive business opportunities

Work closely with COO to produce and “own" Sales Plan
-
Maintenance of relationships with new key clients and with client prospects
-
Input to the Business Plans and Budgets in conjunction with executive staff
-
Attend and contribute to development meetings as appropriate
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in engineering, packaging, or business; MBA preferred
-
10-15 years experience in the direct value based sale of packaging, packaging related materials and/or supply chain solutions with a proven track record of success selling to food and consumer packaged goods companies.

Specific experience selling to private label manufacturers, contract manufacturers or contract packers preferred.

Broad based experience in a team-based selling environment and an ability to articulate the company Value Proposition in a way that is both meaningful and impactful to potential customers

Must be able to demonstrate a consultative approach to solution selling and the development of long-term customers.

Compensation:
Base salary & Commissions: Depending on experience
Individual performance will be judged on:
1) Sales revenue
2) New account acquisition
3) Consistent growth within existing accounts
4) Contribution to the team
