The 500 Festival, an Indianapolis based not-for-profit corporation, produces nearly 50 annual events and programs, celebrating the Indianapolis 500®. Events include the IPL 500 Festival Parade, the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, American Family Insurance 500 Festival Community Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway®, Chase 500 Festival Kids' Day and many more.

 

 

The 500 Festival has a full-time opening for a qualified and experienced Ticketing and Customer Relations Coordinator. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to answering incoming calls and e-mails regarding 500 Festival events; managing all ticketing functions; database management; coordinating online and onsite registration for multiple 500 Festival events.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization; computer proficiency with use of Windows based programs including Word, Excel and working knowledge of database systems; strong organizational skills and close attention to detail; ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with ability meet deadlines; good listening, analytic and problem solving skills.   Previous customer service and ticketing experience with strong follow-up capabilities is necessary.
