Job Description

Overview:

The purpose of the Client Care Representative is to provide patient support via phone by contacting physician's offices, pharmacies, home health agencies/nurse contractors, and other external entities to ensure that the company is meeting the patient's needs.

 

Responsibilities:

First point of contact with patients by carefully evaluating the purpose of the call, prioritizing the handling of the call, and triaging the calls if indicated.

 

Enrolls new customers to in the client database and manage the new information.

 

Maintains information regarding the new initiatives and explains them to customers when appropriate.

 

Records activities via charting in Siebel and follows up to secure services for our customers by contacting physician's offices, pharmacies, home health agencies/nurse contractors, and other external entities to ensure that company is meeting the patient's needs.

 

Completes various special projects as required

Qualifications:

Experience Preferred:  2+ years experience working with people in situations that are high-pressure and time-sensitive (either telephone or face-to-face), and that involve solving problems, making decisions, and using excellent judgment and "customer service" skills.  Computer literacy and keyboarding skills; ability to switch between applications.  Strong ability to multi-task and strong time management skills.  Ability to function effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.  Ability to manage relationships with patients and other contacts to ensure that all actions and follow-through are completed, start to finish. Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic. Ability to accept and implement feedback and coaching

 

Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or associates, preferably in Business, Finance, or any science related field.  (Will evaluate experience in place of education)

 

Hours:

 

Hours are M-F from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

 

This position is a contract position slated to last at least one year.
