Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Ten years newspaper experience with at least three years in senior newspaper leadership.
· Knowledge of existing equipment and systems is very valuable (inventory available to review).
· Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
· Ability to lead and develop managers and possess strong operational skills for this complicated multi-product Operations Department.
· Knowledge of Production-related technologies is essential.
· Knowledge of the newspaper distribution process as well as an understanding and commitment to customer service is vital.
· Critical thinking and implementation of resolutions for production process is crucial.
