Systems Administrator Staff:

The successful candidate will support the infrastructure services. The program is responsible for network engineering, network management, VoIP, all production servers (Windows/UNIX/Linux including File/Print and application servers), storage/backups, BCP, Service Desk, Desktop Support, Patch management, and remote access services.

This position requires excellent and proven attention to details, process and discipline for production environment IT Operations and a willingness to work in a complex and dynamic environment. It requires the commitment to completing the job on time with quality results. A commitment to overall job success and task ownership utilizing and delegating to the Server Services team is required.

The candidate must demonstrate sound technical, project, operations, skills minimally including:

• Daily operations of the production environment:

1. Windows servers
2. UNIX servers
3. Storage (SAN/NAS)
4. Data backup environment (SAN, NAS, individual Server)
5. Messaging, including eMail, vaulting, encrypted eMail services, eMail protection (anti-virus and spam.

• Technology Refresh planning/execution
• Project Management 

• Process Management

1. Identification
2. Capture
3. Updates

• SLA management

1. Availability
2. Problem resolution
3. Incident response

Major technologies, the candidate should be familiar with, include:

• Microsoft Windows (2003, 2008 both 32 and 64 bit)
• Linux (RedHat Fedora & Enterprise)
• Sun Solaris
• SQL Servers (MS/SQL, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL)
• Microsoft SharePoint 2003 & 2007
• Microsoft Exchange 2003 & 2007

Cluster Experience

• Symantec Enterprise Vault (eVault)
• EMC Storage (Clarion, Centera, DMX)
• EMC Control Center
• NetApp storage
• Cloverleaf storage
• Veritas Backup Solutions (NetBackup and BackupExec)
• Front Range ITSM
• Monitoring with Big Brother and NetIQ
• Cisco ASA
• RSA

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Demonstrated expertise with service delivery management in an enterprise server environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft server technologies (Windows, Exchange, MS/SQL, AD).
• Demonstrated experience with major storage technologies.
• Demonstrated project planning/management experience.
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project

Certification in at least one of the following:

• Microsoft MCSE

• EMC ISM

• Sun Certified System Administrator

Position will require candidate to have the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
