Description Our client is a highly respected Insurance Agency with an excellent reputation committed to providing superior service to their clients. Westaff is recruiting on their behalf for an exceptional Sales Representative for their  Commercial Account Producer Position.

Insurance industry experience is not required and training and mentoring is available for bright & talented candidates offering 3-5 years of sales experience. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional. SUMMARY
Sell insurance products and coordinate services to new & existing clients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve objectives established in annual producer sales plan.
•Prospect for new business from existing clients and identified target groups.
•Contact and qualify prospective clients for the purpose of examining current coverage and determining insurance needs.
•Collect detailed risk and underwriting information including survey data and loss history.
•Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance including details of coverage, limits, deductibles and other pertinent information.
•Collaborate with commercial account manager to ensure complete company submissions and account service, including claims issues.
•Anticipate future needs for established client to renew and upgrade accounts.
•Maintain production reports and attend all sales meetings as required.
•Develop long-term relationships with clients and underwriters.
•Promote agency and insurance industry in the community.
•Keep informed regarding industry information and marketplace changes to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
•Develop positive working relationships with clients and company personnel.
•Work as a team with other staff members to achieve production and agency goals.
•Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management.
Requirements •Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent & 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience. Experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
•Active licensure is a BIG PLUS!
•Working knowledge of the full suite of MS applications
•Outstanding references and solid work history demonstrating success in sales representative roles

Salary is commensurate with experience and the total compensation package includes a performance-based commission structure.
