Audit Manager - CPA Firm

The Audit Manager is an integral part of the C.P.A. Firm’s Audit and Accounting function.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and supervise multiple auditing engagements in industries such as construction, manufacturing, retail, service, employee benefit plans and not for profit agencies.
• Supervise multiple staff and assist in their training and development.
• Research latest developments in A&A standards and assist in Firm training and client implementation.
• Serve as primary supporter of Firm’s paperless engagement software and electronic research tools.
• Provide guidance to client personnel regarding new pronouncements as well as ensure audit engagements adhere to all practice and industry standards.
• Assist with final technical review of engagements. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, C.P.A. required!
• 4+ years of audit management experience in a similar size or larger public accounting firm (25+ people)
• Experience managing multiple auditing engagements in diverse industries
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and standard audit procedures required.
• Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills; MS office, Quickbooks, and auditing software
