Healthcare Business Analyst

MedAssurant, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst who is responsible for creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between Insights’ Product Management staff’s business needs and the Technology Department’s plans for development and delivery.  This includes developing comprehensive business requirements and related business rules based on Product Management needs.  The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the subject matter experts in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements.  The ideal candidate will be Bachelors or Masters level trained with major course work in information systems and/or a healthcare related field.

Responsibilities include:

·         Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding products, services, infrastructure and operations of the Company to achieve optimal insight into the Company’s product development, capabilities, and functionality requirements;

·         Develop comprehensive business requirements for system driven solutions to process gaps and required new functionality;  These requirements will be solicited through personal experience, client/staff interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures;

·         Develop user flows diagrams and acceptance test plans, and serve as an expert to the Information’s Systems staff providing the quality assurance effort;

·         Compliment the Client Services/Operations Department by providing technical support to the Business Intelligence clients with system implementation, data analysis and data reporting expertise.
