Description
Bounce Energy is a Houston-based Retail Electric Provider with a focus on building a residential customer base in emerging deregulated energy markets, beginning with the Texas electricity market. The company was founded in April of 2008, started accepting residential customers in November of 2008 and is a rapidly growing, well-funded early stage business. We are seeking energetic, hard working candidates with a desire to experience, learn and contribute in a start-up culture involving the ecommerce, energy, and marketing fields.
Bounce Energy is looking for a Customer Service Chat Representative to create and maintain customer relationships. This role will function as one of the primary sources of contact to the Bounce Energy customer base. This position requires candidates to be committed to a professional, highly responsive customer service and sales environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responding to inbound chats or e-mails from customers
- Maintaining chats with multiple customers at one time.
- Accurately and positively informing prospects about the opportunity to choose Bounce Energy electricity for their homes.
- Closing/signing up prospects showing interest in Bounce Energy electricity products.
- Assisting current customers with any questions/concerns regarding account and billing questions.
- Handling customer complaints.
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
- 6 months sales & customer service experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Feel comfortable using sales techniques & customer needs
- Good Analytical & problem solving skills
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Bilingual Spanish & English
- 2 + Years sales & customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to overcome objections and close with customers
- Knowledge of energy/deregulation
