Director of Continuing Education

DIRECTOR OF

Louisiana State University at Alexandria

is seeking applications for the position of

Director of Continuing Education. The

Director is responsible for all functions of

Continuing Education, which provides noncredit

instruction including business and

industry training, workforce development,

personal enrichment courses, travel courses,

and public service programming. The

Director must manage business training;

develop, market, implement and evaluate

training services; design and promote

continuous improvement processes; develop

business, industry, educational, and agency

partnerships, and supervise staff.

Qualifications desired include a minimum of

a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing

or business); experience in higher education,

corporate training or related area; experience

with workforce training grant programs;

project or program management experience;

attention to detail; and willingness to work

evenings or weekends as needed.
