We are actively seeking a
Retail Sales Manager in our
Brandon, FL facility. This position plays an integral role in Ashley Furniture HomeStores future success in meeting our customers’ needs and our continued growth.
Job Description
Below is a list of tasks this position is required to facilitate.
- Support Sales staff on the floor by continually coaching, motivating, and training.
- Perform weekly continuous training sessions.
- Observe sales associates and give concise feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop individual sales goals.
- Conduct daily sales meetings, including but not limited to introduction of new product, modification of product, price updates, discontinued product, and upcoming promotions.
- Monitor and track store “UPS" system
- Report and discuss sales analysis, goals, and issues with upper management.
- Schedules sales floor to ensure full coverage.

Requirements
Below is a list of requirements/qualifications necessary to be considered for this position.
- Associate Degree in Business Administration, Retail, Marketing or related field required or equivalent work experience, Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Retail, Marketing or related field desired
- 3 years sales/retail experience required preferably in furniture industry, 2 years supervisory management required
- Knowledge of:
- “UPS" system
- Profit systems
- AS400
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Ashley product line
- Skills and Abilities:
- Effective interpersonal communication, time management, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Good listening skills
- Ability to assess and recognize individual strengths and weaknesses
- Ability to maintain flexibility
- Maintain confidentiality
