Business Development Specialist (Sales)

Business Development Specialist. This position plays a key role in the success and growth of this team-oriented office with flexibility to grow.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic sales plan with goals to generate high revenue growth for the branch.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies focusing on higher margin prospects.
- Build relationships and provide solutions to our current clients and potential new clients.
- Perform selling activities will includes face-to-face cold calling, professional presentations, telephone communication, and written correspondence.
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Communicate with the branch for quality recruitment and placement to our clients.
- Conduct job site evaluations for safety.
- Assist with collections as needed.
- Participate in networking, community organizations, and events.
- Grow professionally
- Deliver results and drive activity
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 2 years selling experience, preferably in outside business-to-business, service or staffing industry
- Ability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid driver license free from repetitive or serious violations
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to client’s job sites
- Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to sell in a highly-competitive market and meet deadlines
- Proven track record of developing a sales territory
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the Internet
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively use verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of the Staffing Industry preferred but not required.
