Account Management Director

POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Management Director manages a team of Account Executives whose primary task is to strengthen relationships with our existing client base to improve revenue retention, create client up-sell and product cross-sell opportunities. The Director works closely with new sales personnel to identify such opportunities. The Director contributes to the sales strategy of the Company and participates in strategic meetings.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Sales – Demonstrate strong consultative and closing skills.
· Exceed Goals & Objectives – Meet/exceed individual up-sell goals in conjunction with departmental up-sell goals.
· Needs Analysis – Identify and acquire key business information within existing customer relationships.
· Relationship Skills – Develop client relationships that position a strategic partnership.
· Client Communication – Interface at all levels of a customer relationship.
· Travel – Willingness to travel 40%
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Sales Experience – 7+ years.
- Education - 4-year college degree
- Financial Services Knowledge – An excellent understanding of the Financial Service Industry specifically investment securities.
- Communication Skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Interpersonal Skills - Superb interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Technology - A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Organizational Skills - Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Responsibility and Initiative - An ability to work independently in an efficient and responsible manner.
