Job Description

General Purpose:

  • Segment, Target, Develop and Maintain Key National, Regional and New York State   accounts for Supplemental Health Care, a majority of the accounts being acute care health care facilities, with a Client-for-Life philosophy to increase top line revenue and bottom line results
  • Work with Travel Nursing to implement market plans and client strategies that will results in execution on above accounts

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop marketing, recruiting and sales strategies around client acquisition, retention and expansion of Supplemental Health Care’s business in identified targeted accounts
  • Maintain database of key accounts and remain in constant contact to ensure Supplemental Health Care is a solutions-driven provider
  • Implement our Client-for-Life philosophy to all identified accounts
  • Contact (both phone and in person) prospective clients to promote use of Supplemental Health Care
  • Make presentations to appropriate associations/organizations to increase awareness of Supplemental Health Care presence and to promote local and national services
  • Establish appropriate recruiting activities with office teams to ensure defined high percentage of orders are filled on time
  • Link our travel office personnel to Key Account personnel and work together to provide unique solutions 
  • Provide immediate and detailed feedback to team members on all accounts in database
  • Continually assess changes in client needs as well as uncover new clients’ needs, situations and challenges by asking probing questions
  • Willingness to learn and implement, operating the Supplemental Way
  • Communicate with clients as well as field and office personnel in a warm and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport
  • Help maintain an environment of high morale, motivation and teamwork
  • Maintain a mature problem-solving attitude under stressful circumstances
  • Establish long-term business goals and projects with your Manager
  • Schedule own time based on priorities; allocate proper amounts of time to activities; retain a flexible schedule to handle request and/or complaints in a timely manner
  • Willingness to travel via car or airplane to cover territory

Job Requirements

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Talents:

  • Demonstrated Success in Large/Key Account Sales – Healthcare industry preferred
  • Demonstrated excellent negotiating skills

  • Demonstrated excellent organizational and detail skills

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Computer proficiency to include current software programs, i.e. MS Word and Excel
