Description Caravan Ingredients is a leading supplier and manufacturer of functional bakery ingredients, food ingredients, functional chemicals, polymer additives, and specialty blending equipment.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Customer Information Specialist to join our Compliance & Documentation Department. This person will be responsible for handling a variety of incoming/outgoing product and regulatory technical information and quality surveys.

Capabilities:

  • Detail oriented, systematic organized thinker.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Regulatory experience with FDA, TSCA, NAFTA and International Food & Chemical a plus.
  • Must be able to multi-task and perform cross-functional duties successfully.
  • Candidate must posses the ability to function well in a team environment.
Requirements Experience:  Three years of technical, regulatory or commercial employment in the food or chemical industries preferred. Two to three years customer service experience preferred.

Education:  Bachelor of Science degree preferred with emphasis in Biology, Food Science, Engineering or Chemistry. We will also consider some college plus highly relevant work experience.
