We are looking for an experienced, professional Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Raleigh, NC.

 

Job Description:

1. Direct ownership of revenue generated in geographic region through territory management for the sales and/or lease of all asset types
2. Maintain and grow share at existing client base in assigned geographic territory
3. Identify and secure new business growth opportunities in assigned geographic territory through lead/target qualification
4. Maintain and update  SalesForce.com pipeline database
5. Develop and implement key account plans and strategies
6. Manage and coordinate resources to complete sales process for in fleet and custom projects
7. Compile all necessary information and approvals for sales agreements/proposals
8. Solidify vendor relationships
9. Gain comprehensive understanding of competition in assigned sales territory

10. Mentor Inside Sales Associates for career development
11. Obtain state licensing (where required)
12. Maintain, update, submit all administrative reports 
13. Exemplify teamwork and positive attitude with branch/regional personnel
14. Customer contact/assistance - site visits
15. Compile leases/quotes for custom and complex business   
16. Handle walk in transactions for complexes
17. Project site visits
18. Position value added product services

Requirements

BS/BA degree required or equivalent work experience
Minimum of three to five years outside sales experience

Construction/industrial sales experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated skills in developing long-term customer partnerships (customer acquisition, development and retention)
Demonstrated skills in teamwork effectiveness across all functional areas
Creative, motivated individual with aggressive selling and negotiation skills
PC proficiency in a Windows environment

Experience with SalesForce.com strongly preferred
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Excellent ability to multi-task and manage personal productivity 

 25-50% travel required, percentage of travel and frequency of overnight travel dependent upon geographic territory.
Driver's License in good standing.
