Silverado At Home is looking for an experienced part-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our continuous care team on cases throughout the Houston area.
Licensed Vocational Nurse responsibilities include:
- Provides those services requiring nursing skills in accordance with the plan of care.
- Assesses the clients and administers prescribed treatments and medications as permitted by scope of practice.
- Educates and instructs the patient and patient's family.
- Observes for safety hazards in the patient’s and organization’s environments and takes appropriate steps to reduce or eliminate them.
- Completes all documentation in an accurate and legible manner.

Requirements
Ideal Licensed Vocational Nurse background includes:
- At least one year of nursing experience
- Experience in a home health or assisted living setting is a plus
- A valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance and a willingness to drive to client locations
