Description Assistant to the President/CEO needed for a well-established, non-profit organization.  Some of the main job duties include:

  • Composing correspondence, screening calls, maintaining files and associated documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of board meetings to include completing packets with meeting materials, help with scheduling, and taking minutes during the board meeting. 
  • Responsible for maintaining calendar; making all travel arrangements; coordinating conferences/meetings
  • Handle conference calls and meeting arrangements.
  • Assist with project work and meet deadlines.
  • Manage the President's office independently and with little oversight when working alone.
Requirements
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must have expert skills  in Word/Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Typing minimum 65 wpm
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to compose, edit, and proofread correspondence
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • 7 years minimum experience working with a large organization at the executive level
  • Ability to engage in conversation with donors, board members, executive and staff in personable, pleasant, consistent manner
