Job Description
OpenLink, a leading provider of enterprise software for trading, risk management, scheduling, accounting, and operations, seeks an individual to join our professional services staff in Houston, Texas as a Business Consultant for accounting and back office solutions. The Business Consultant will assist our energy clients in the development and documentation of business requirements, implementation, configuration, and training of client staff in the production operation of Endur, our flagship straight-through-processing software.  The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in business matters related to accounting and back-office settlement processing, providing expertise to our clients in structuring internal processes and the proper use of Endur for invoicing, transaction confirmations, FASB 133 requirements, legacy application interfaces, and ledger entries to support management accounting/reporting analysis.  Superior candidates will assist our sales teams with the demonstration of our software to prospective clients.


Job Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

·        5 or more years experience in mid/back office processing

·        2 years of audit/analysis

·        Prior hands-on experience with GL products (SAP, Peoplesoft, Great Plains, Lawson, Oracle Financials, etc.)

·        Experience in market pricing of financial instruments/commodities

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Consulting-oriented/customer-facing skills required

·        Must be able to travel on a weekly basis to client locations throughout North America

·        CPA or chartered status preferred
