Job Description
Operations Manager – Rotary Steerable Systems

My client is a diversified global oilfield services company and they are looking for an experienced  Operations Manager. 

They are continuing to grow despite current market conditions, a testament to their strong industry relations and cost control structure.

Requirements:

 

  • Ability to identify geographical applications for the RSS tool.

  • Coordinate RSS jobs.
  • Interface with clients in the marketing of the RSS tool.
  • Interface with R&D on technical improvements.
  • Responsible for implementing cost controls for and financial results of RSS tool use.
  • Responsible to RSS training program and build team of well-qualified personnel.
  • Provide daily reports to management and customers.

     

 

Prefer 3 to 5 years experience as an Operations Manager with budgeting experience, and employee training and development experience. 

  • MUST have RSS experience in some aspect(s) from prototype to commercialization. 
  • BS or higher in Engineering preferred.
