PRACTICE MANAGER - PMP

Job Title :  Practice Manager – Global Professional Services

 

Reports to:  DIRECTOR, Global Professional Services (Stamford, CT)

 

Location:  Stamford, CT or Remote Location:

–         New Jersey, Bridgewater, NJ

–         New York in proximity to CT and NJ

–         Raleigh, Durham, NC

–         Pennsylvania in proximity to NJ

 

Position Summary

 

As a Practice Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead the software implementation of   Safety, Regulatory or Clinical practices for multiple Life Science, Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research projects.  The Practice Manager’s charter is to ensure the overall successful implementation of Aris Global software, management of revenue professional services revenue generation, project and practice budget and gross margins.  A fully deployed, technically stable customer environment determines the level of success for software implementation.

 

The Practice Manager will be required to grow and develop the practice and to achieve the annual revenue goals for the practice of up to $5 Million.  You will have overall responsibility for the effectiveness and success of Aris Global software implementation.  As well you will be responsible for the project profitability, recruiting, training, monitoring, managing and retaining consultants in your practice.  Additional responsibilities include the following:

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Services practice development and key processes to maximize the creation of repeatable consulting solutions.
  • Integrates industry knowledge into practical sales-related tactics, techniques and procedures to ensure teams deliver well-rounded and well-developed sales campaigns.
  • Ensure knowledge capture and transfer within the practice and among key Aris Global departments in the development of “best practices". 
  • Serve as the main contact for the customer on large or critical projects; maintain and grow relationships; act in the role of the “trusted advisor".
  • Maintain regular communications with the customer on the project.
  • Ensure Project Managers are creating project plans and managing project timelines, resources, budgets and project deliverables.
  • Monitors practice job performance and provides coaching, counseling, and motivation to maximize practice performance. Recruits and hires employees, based on global profiles, who can help grow and drive Aris Global’s business strategy.
  • Mitigate project implementation risk through the development of new strategies and through active risk management.

 

Computer/Software

Proficient in MS Office, Outlook; Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

 

Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or any relevant fields; Masters Degree preferred. PMP/PMI certification required.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 9+ years relevant experience. Proven experience with software implementation projects and methodologies (including SDLC, architectures, etc.) Project/IT/Services consulting background essential. Practice management, business development experience and Life Sciences (comprising Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Bio Tech) industry product knowledge required.

Ability to travel 50% to 75% domestic and internationally as required
