Nurse, RN, LVN

Responsible for supervising the screening process and staff to ensure potential participants are being screened and enrolled into clinical studies according to the protocol and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

• Observes all aspects of screening and perform duties as needed.
• Ensures all screening activity is conducted in accordance with SOP’s and protocol requirements.
• Ensures participants are notified of their screening results and informed in an appropriate manner.
• Scheduling participants for repeats as needed. 
• Train’s in all areas of the screening department.
• Ensuring that all screen failures are obtained and implemented on a daily basis.
•  Work’s closely with the Principal Investigator, Sub-Investigator, Screening Manager and Study Manager to ensure participants who meet the inclusion/exclusion criteria is admitted into appropriate studies in accordance with FDA regulations.
• Follow’s lead and direction of Screening Manager and Principal Investigator to ensure that screening department is employing and following best medical practices. 
• Performs consenting, history, height, weight, BMI, and EKG. 
•  Working closely with Screening Manager to ensure that all participants meet the Inclusion/Exclusion criteria is admitted into appropriate studies in accordance with FDA regulations. 
• Performs duties for the Screening Department as needed. 
•  Performs duties of Screening Manager in his/her absence. 
•  Other duties as assigned.
