About Us
The
Kauffman Professional Shared Services Organization is a new affiliate entity of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation that will provide expertise to several Kauffman affiliate organizations in the areas of business development and fundraising, finance and accounting, human resources, legal, information technology, and public relations.
Summary of Finance / Accounting Director:
We are seeking several highly skilled individuals with a proven track record of success and business experience to join this organization as we build it from the ground up.
Responsibilities of Finance / Accounting Director includes:
- This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to the affiliate organizations in all matters related to finance and accounting.
- Will be responsible for the initial set-up and implementation of back office accounting systems for the shared services organization and certain affiliates, essentially allowing for general ledger accounting, check processing and payroll processing.
Requirements
Finance / Accounting Director
Requirements for Finance / Accounting Director includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business, with a minimum of 10 years expertise in GAAP accounting (non-profit GAAP experience a plus), with significant experience in financial analysis
- Forecasting and budgeting, cash management, risk management (insurance), financing alternatives, related information systems, as well as some exposure to human resources.
- CPA license/designation is required.
