Job Description 

Outstanding leader required for this reporting, accounting policy and managerial analytical post.  You will lead a high performance group, manage organizational change initiatives, improve the flow of work through the department, lead systems upgrade initiatives and build data and models for actionable management information.

This position has full accountability for the divisional balance sheet, income statement and establishing accounting policy while maintaining a strong internal control environment.  You will be responsible for all external SEC and internal management reporting and analysis requiring significant communication and/or reporting to the CAO, CFO, CEO and Investor Relations.


Day to day:



  • Manage the GAAP reporting area.  Manage the SEC reporting function.  Identify key business drivers for Senior Management and act as primary liaison with Investor Relations and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in the 10-Q, 10-K and other SEC filings and related disclosures.
  • This position is the expert on technical accounting matters (Statutory and GAAP) and develops, manages and implements accounting policy for the life and annuity businesses.
  • Build, manage and develop a high performance team.  Provide effective change leadership to anticipate the current and future needs of Senior Management while pro-actively developing and maintaining a reporting infrastructure resulting in a high degree of integrity of reported results.
  • Identify critical business measurements and support a robust managerial reporting function.
