Power Engineer

Job Summary

AFL Telecommunication is currently recruiting for a Power Engineers for  NC, SC and KY.  Candidate will completes materials lists, and when needed, detailed site surveys if feasible. Ensure that quality work is done on time and forwarded to engineering estimating. 

Responsibilites

• Performs power site surveys, coordinates construction contracts and services quotes. 
• Responsible for specifying and or ordering major and job minor materials. 
• Performs job startup walk thru with installation and provides on going job service as required to support the project. 
• Works on loan to installation when requested. 

• A minimum of 5 years experience in Power Detail Engineering including site survey or a level 4 Power Installer. 
• Must have knowledge of telecommunications power equipment, layout and electrical circuit sizing. 
• Knowledge of customer data bases such as ERMA, Command Tower and PC applications such as AutoCAD and Excel is required.
• Must demonstrate excellent face to face customer service skills. 
• Applicants may apply for Part-time employment if they wish not to perform installation services. 
• Must have clean driving record and valid drivers license
• Travel is required
