TELECOMMUNICATIONS SALES REPREPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for individuals to train as outside sales representatives and sales managers, for our Minnetonka location.   We are seeking motivated individuals looking to build a book of business through hard work and determination. We offer competitive compensation and benefits programs.  Cumberland also has future plans to expand into Seattle, Washington as well as Portland, Oregon within the next 12 months. For qualified and interested candidate we will train and relocate sales managers to those territories, at the same time offering substantial opportunity within Minnesota.

As a Cumberland Employee, you will provide sophisticated business solutions to top priority consumers. You will guide your clients' decision making as they consider the services offered. The industries involved in our client portfolio include telecom, offices supplies, merchant services, energy products.

 

Our representatives are strongly encouraged to develop relationships with their customers, always conduct themselves with professionalism as well as honesty and integrity.  As a representative  you will be required to perform the following tasks:

  • The sales representative position is highly entrepreneurial and involves extensive client development, prospecting, and consultative selling.
  • Representatives listen to their clients' goals and objectives and leverage the power of Cumberland  to develop business plans that help them get the services they need. 
  • They participate in training and development throughout their careers to continually improve their ability to provide the best advice and service for their clients.
  • Initial training experiences will give you a foundation and skills the prepare you for the day to day routine and job duties. 
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Positive business attitude

Requirements Minimum Requirements

  • The ideal candidate has 1 or more years of stable and progressively more responsible experience as a sales professional. However, all qualified candidates will be considered.
  • A bachelor's degree in a business related discipline is preferred, but candidates with other related professional job experience will be considered on a one on one basis.  We will look at all resume's submitted.   
  • Executive presence, extraordinary interpersonal skills, a strong team orientation, and resiliency.
  • Positive thinking, self-starter with a track record of high achievement in everything you do
