Azteca America Affiliate is looking for a Bilingual General Sales Leader. This is an impressive opportunity to work in a solid, high demand, Spanish language station!
Applicants must be able to hold themselves and their staff accountable through effective communication and management of the team as well as possess unquestionable character, professionalism and integrity. The ideal candidate must view obstacles as opportunities and consistently strive to win.
General Sales Manager
As the General Sales Manager, you will handle the daily operations of the television station including:

Monitor and comply with all FCC requirements for proper license service

Lead, direct and build our television operation
-
Direct sales including national, local and infomercials
-
Sell and manage the sales process
-
Hire, train, develop and manage inventory and coordinate traffic
-
Establish rates, manage inventory and coordinate traffic
-
Budget as per corporate requirements for revenue/expenses
-
Create sales rate cards, presentations, packages, research pieces and promotion pieces
-
Monitor local cable carriage while coordinating with corporate direction
-
Ensure TV listings, local brand enhancement and local awareness
-
Develop local relationships to assist sales revenue and station promotion
-
Cooperate with corporate promotions director for local efforts, if station doesn't have it's own NTR/Event Coordinator

Coordinate production and assist sales team for timely delivery of content
-
Provide corporate with updated competitive and market information
-
Assist corporate with engineering, programming, FCC and other such necessary departmental issues
Requirements
-
Bilingual in English and Spanish
-
Prior management experience OR 4+ years working as a successful top account executive
-
Extensive experience in broadcast sales
-
Self-motivated, creative, goal-oriented and an effective problem solver
-
Self-starter who is able to work effectively in a team environment and also independently
-
Excellent communication and time management skills and be detail oriented
-
Exceptional presentation skills and a professional presence
