BrightStar Healthcare is a national company that is dedicated to delivering superior in-home healthcare services for customers and staffing for medical institutions. We are excited to announce that BrightStar has opened a new office in Sparta, New Jersey servicing Sussex and Warren Counties. We are looking to create a first class team of CHHAs and CNA's who can help us meet the health care needs of our community and grow our company into the premier in-home service provider in Northern NJ.  Applicants must be service oriented and have the desire to deliver the high quality BrightStar experience that our customers expect.

Job Requirements 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Basic companion care 
  • Assisting with activities of daily living
  • Providing social and emotional support
  • Assisting in range of motion exercises or transferring or walking or positioning
  • Following the Nursing Care Plan
  • Escorting to doctor appointments, shopping, or movies and restaurants
  • Laundry and linen changes
  • Light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Meal preparation and clean up

WHAT YOU NEED
  • 1+ year experience in home care
  • State CHHA or CNA  certification
  • Ability to speak and read English  (we also need Spanish speaking)
  • Ability to clearly write patient reports as required by BrightStar
  • Ability to travel to assignments on a daily basis
