Job Description 

An engineering company in the western suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer for a permanent hire opportunity.  The candidate would be responsible for bridge design, inspections, retaining wall design, as well as other structural projects/analysis.  The candidate should also have a basic knowledge of civil engineering inculding tranportation design.   Candidates should be familiar with Microstation, AutoCAD, and Microsoft products (Bridge design software is a plus).  The organization is seeking someone with a take charge mentality.  Ideal candidates will be able to effectively market their structural group, write proposals, and posses excellent communication skills.

Job Requirements 

-Must have 5-10 years of experience in Structural Engineering (Bridge Design and Transportation experience is preferred)
-AutoCAD, Microstation, and the Microsoft Suite
-Ability to run project with little supervision
-Experience working with IDOT Projects
-Ability to travel to the western suburbs of Chicago
