Sales Specialist

The Sales Specialist will be the primary contact for complicated product information and clarification for MWI Sales Representatives and MWI and Securos customers.  This position will be the hands-on Securos product expert. 

The Sales Specialist will answer highly technical questions from the veterinarian customers regarding complex Securos products.  Act as a liaison between MWI Sales Representatives and Securos.  Follow up on outstanding customer issues.  Answer incoming calls promptly.  Deliver excellent customer service.  Assist clients with questions or concerns while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude.  Take and places orders for customers.  Deliver excellent customer service by communicating with  Sales Manager and Product Development Manager and utilizing reference materials, as needed, to follow through with clients.  Source new customers.  Make outbound calls to clients for purpose of increased sales.  Generate sales that meet or exceed individual goals.  Follow up with internet prospects.  Participate in tradeshows.  Conduct customer satisfaction surveys.  Visit customer sites. 

• Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in business is preferred, but not required. 

• One to three years sales experience in the human health or veterinarian surgical suite strongly preferred. 

• Proven sales experience is necessary.  

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills are required. 

• A valid drivers’ license and good driving record are mandatory. 

• Travel required.
