Nurse Practitioner
Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist
Rewarding Work/Supportive Colleagues/Flexible Schedule
MedOptions is the leading provider of behavioral health services to residents of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Maryland and New England. Our Company was founded by a nurse practitioner who like many others wanted to make a difference in the lives of older adults and the staff who care for them. Thirteen years and 400 client facilities later, that’s still our mission. We are expanding into the Philadelphia area and are seeking experienced nurse practitioners to join us.
We are a multi-disciplinary team of nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and social workers providing medication management and psychotherapy services. Our clinicians come from a variety of backgrounds and are provided training and support that enable them to work efficiently while achieving the best outcomes for their patients. Our nurse practitioners perform initial evaluations, follow up visits and medication management. While practicing independently, you will be supported by experienced clinical managers, regular educational meetings, case study teleconferences, and a clinician designed electronic medical records system.
We are seeking clinicians to join us on a full- or part-time basis and offer flexible weekday schedules based on your individual needs. And you are eligible for benefits if you work a minimum of 24 hours/week.
Our benefits include: medical, dental, life, 401K with matching, paid time off, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts, continuing education allowance, paid malpractice insurance and employee paid short-term disability and other insurances.
Requirements
Qualified clinicians will have an advanced practice nursing degree (CRNP, PMHNP, APRN, MSN-FNP, GNP, PCNS or similar degree) and be licensed in Pennsylvania as a nurse practitioner or CNS. Nurse practitioners must also have a state controlled substance and DEA numbers. Prior long-term care and/or behavioral health experience is preferred. Psychiatric NP or CNS degrees are preferable but not required.
